Welcome to Tincher PTA
 

Welcome back Tincher families to the 2022-2023 school year!  

I hope that you have all been healthy and well. We’ve loved seeing all of your students on campus! Things are starting to feel normal again and we’re so excited to be part of your educational experience. 

 The PTA Board, in partnership with our staff, students and all of you, is dedicated to supporting our students, families and teachers throughout the school year. Our board is hard at work to ensure that our enrichment programs promote togetherness and bring some fun back to school! Each year our team brings new ideas expanding on our principles of diversity, equity and inclusion in hopes of making Tincher a better place to learn and grow.  We are committed to our Tincher community and know that we will get through the year safely and with community spirit.

We’d like to give a shout out to Principal Ryono who has supported all of us throughout the last year and is eager to continue where we left off last school year.  Our Board and volunteers will be working with Principal Ryono and her team to help keep you informed and engaged.  Events and activities will be offered in accordance with LBUSD safety guidelines.  We plan on hosting a safe, hybrid version of our regular programming throughout the year.

There are many ways you can help participate in our Tincher community. We will be asking for volunteers to help chair events and lead programs for our Tigers. There will also be fundraisers you can support so we can continue to provide enrichment for students. Some of these programs that need to be funded are Meet the Masters, software support for teachers, our music program and so much more!  

​

An additional way to support the PTA is to become a Tincher PTA Member. The PTA both locally and nationally are huge advocates for (P)arents, (T)teachers and most importantly our Students. There is power in numbers and joining the PTA will make our Tincher community a powerhouse. This year we will be using Totem for membership.
